Resolving Purchase Errors


StrikeIron is concerned about your security. Using Digicert, a network security encryption company, we are able to verify authentication and assure your certified security. For that reason we carefully monitor sales, which may have caused you to have an error. Outlined below are reasons why you may have encountered an error.

  1. Credit Card has expired
    • Make sure that your credit card has not expired and that it is active
  2. Invalid Credit Card Information; Please review your entries
    • Make sure that all fields are completely filled out
      • Make sure you choose the appropriate credit card
      • Make sure that you verify that you have typed in the correct credit card #
      • Make sure you have chosen the correct expiration month and year
  3. CVV code is Required
    • CVV stands for Card Verification Value. The CVV code helps ascertain that the customer placing the order actually possesses the credit/debit card and that the card account is legitimate. Each credit card company has its own name for the CVV code, but it functions the same for all major card types.

      Where exactly is the CVV code found?

      Discover/Visa/MasterCard
      The back panel of most Discover/Visa/MasterCard cards contain the full 16-digit account number, followed by the CVV/CVC code. Some banks, though, only show the last four digits of the account number followed by the code.
       
      American Express
      You can find your four-digit card verification number on the front of your American Express credit card above the credit card number on either the right or the left side of your credit card.

  4. Card Type and Number mismatch
    • Make sure that you have picked the appropriate credit card along with the correct amount of digits
  5. Invalid Credit Card number
    • Double check that you have entered the credit card # correctly and that it is active
  6. 'State/Province' must be provided
    • Choose the proper State/Province
  7. You must accept the Usage Agreement
    • Make sure that you have accepted the terms of the usage agreement

Helpful Hints:

The fields that say *Required next to them must be entered

Address 1: Make sure to put in the full address

Ex: 23 James
23 James Street

Address 2:  Put in the appropriate Unit/Suite/Apt if applicable

City: Make sure that the city you enter is the city that the credit card is registered in

Remember when paying via PayPal:
One-time purchases can be purchased with either PayPal or credit card. Hits expire after 90 days. Upgrades are not available for One-time purchases; however you may purchase another set of hits. There are no refunds and no overages allowed, however, if a batch process is run and the number of hits used exceeds the number of hits purchased, you will be charged a one-time fee for the number of hits exceeded times the price per purchased hit.
